Power Belt Conveyor Systems
Ashland Power Belt Systems provide a quiet, low cost, smooth conveying surface which can be used for many applications such as assembly, packing, sorting, and testing.
Ashland offers two smart powered conveyor systems.
Our newest product, RigidPro™, is a smart, modular live-roller system designed for fixed installations. It comes with outstanding engineering support and the options needed to create a conveyor system that best matches your operation’s unique requirements. We work with you from design to install to commissioning.
Our ProFlex live-roller system is smart, flexible and extendable. It was designed with input from a
leading material handling company to last longer and provide a fast ROI.
ProFlex is ideal for dock loading and unloading operations or where a mobile, versatile and reliable conveyor is required to maximize productivity. It also features a patented roller/belt quick- change system and easily accessible motors and
controls for ulta-low maintenance costs.
Ashland also manufactures high-quality Chain-Drive Live Roller (CDLR) and Power Belt systems. CDLR is a low-cost, high-load capacity powered conveyor suitable for many heavy load-conveying applications, such as pallet loads, skids and containers. Ashland’s welded construction makes our CDLR conveyors durable enough to handle the harshest applications. Our Power Belt Systems – flat or inclined – provide a quiet, smooth, lower-cost conveyor that can be used for many applications, such as assembly, packing, sorting and testing. These systems are the most versatile materialhandling systems for applications not suitable for gravity conveyors.
Ashland’s gravity conveyor systems arrive ready for immediate use. Our most popular gravity conveyors are our FlexExtend and Telescoping systems. The Ashland FlexExtend Skatewheel System is a versatile solution for moving product in retail, fulfillment, manufacturing and shipping environments. These highly durable systems consist of skatewheels mounted on a series of axles attached to flexible frames. Skatewheel conveyors “roll” items more easily than roller conveyors, allowing for lighter packages and less slope. The individual wheels in the curve sections allow packages to track better than roller conveyors. Ashland's telescoping conveyor is a durable, low-maintenance product that can extend or retract to reach different lengths. It’s typically used for loading and unloading trucks, trailers and containers and is available with rollers or skatewheels. Unlike "expanding" conveyors, the centerline distance between rollers or skatewheels remains unchanged at any extension.
Gravity conveyors are non-powered conveyors that move products using gravity or manual push instead of motors. When the conveyor is set up with a slight decline, products roll down naturally. For flat conveyance, workers are required to manually move the material by pushing or pulling. Ashland offers roller, skatewheel, ball transfer
and flow rail gravity systems. The main advantages of gravity or push systems are that they are simple, low cost, low maintenance and energy free. They work best for items with a flat, rigid bottom, such as cartons or totes.
Ashland’s system components line includes everything you need to build and maintain a customized gravity or push conveyor that acts independently or as part of a larger, fully integrated system. Our component systems are popular with individual operations and system integrators that build and maintain bespoke conveyors. Products include conveyor rollers, skatewheels, ball transfers, flow rail, conveyor belts, conveyor stands and supports, ceiling conveyor hangers plus replacement parts and accessories.
Since 1978, Ashland has been known for high-quality conveyor products, outstanding customer service and engineering support, short lead times and on-time delivery. We served a broad range of customers, from small distribution centers and local manufacturers to some of the largest distribution and fulfillment operations in North America.
Ashland also sells and supports several conveyance roller products manufactured by Woodsage, which is also a ProVeyance company. Woodsage is a long-established industry leader in conveyor rollers, including straight, tapered, grooved or ungrooved and specialty application rollers.
Woodsage also makes a line of high-quality UPS- and FedEx-certified conveyor pulleys/idlers.
Ashland Power Belt Systems provide a quiet, low cost, smooth conveying surface which can be used for many applications such as assembly, packing, sorting, and testing.
RigidPro™ was created based on customer requests for a fixed installation system with similar operating features to ProFelx. RigidPro can operate as a single system or can be easily connected to ProFlex, creating a versatile combination for trailer loading and unloading operations.
ProFlex is a flexible, extendable live-roller conveyance system engineered for longer service life, ultra-low maintenance and excellent ROI.
