Hand Operated Roller Stop

The hand operated roller stop is used on gravity conveyors where manual line control is required to stop or index conveyed items. To operate, rotate the lever 90 degrees to raise or lower the stop. This roller stop can be used as normally up or normally down. To install this roller, one roller from the conveyor must be removed and onsite drilling in the bottom flange of the conveyor frame is required.

Pop-Out Brackets

Pop-out brackets are used when placing a belt or other powered conveyor adjacent to other conveyors and equipment. The bracket and roller assembly allows the roller to "pop-out" of place if an object becomes entangled between the roller and belt.

Pop-out rollers and brackets are a recommended safety feature that can prevent pinch points and injuries in your facility.

We have several sizes of pop-out bracket assemblies to choose from to be compatible with your powered conveyor. The options are for the SB400, SB350, RB190, and our CDLR conveyors. You can find our selection on the Pop-Out roller page.

Work Surface

A work surface can be used in your conveyor lane to provide a convenient working area, or they can be used in the form of a package stop. Our work surfaces can be mounted into 2.5" and 3.5" frames at any location by simply removing existing rollers and bolting in place. The work surface height will match the standard roller height which sits slightly above the conveyor frame.

The work surface plates are made of 12 ga. galvanized steel and come in a variety of between frame dimensions. The length of the work surface is 23-7/8". You can find our selection on the Work Surface page.

Knee Braces

Knee braces provide added structural support between the conveyor and the floor support. These braces are recommended for use with nose-over units, supports that feature casters, or free standing conveyors.

Knee braces help to prevent the legs from buckling under the conveyor when moving the conveyor assembly throughout your facility. Adding this additional support to your conveyor stands will keep your conveyor lanes sturdy which can help prevent accidents in the work place.

Construction

The knee brace is made of 1-1/2" x 3/16" painted steel while the bracket is made from 1-1/2" x 1-1/2" x 1/8" steel angle. Knee braces are sold as pairs and includes the braces, brackets, and fasteners. Some field drilling may be required.

Options

Ashland Conveyor provides (3) knee brace options to best fit your application. Take a look at the table below to properly choose which brace will work for you. You can find our selection on the Knee Brace page.
